What is Glance Chat SDK?

Glance Chat SDK is a drop-in AI-powered fashion assistant for e-commerce Android apps. It adds an intelligent shopping companion to your app that helps users discover products, get outfit recommendations, and virtually try on clothes — all within your existing app experience.

What It Does:

  • AI Fashion Assistant — A chat-based shopping assistant that understands fashion and your product catalog
  • Product Discovery — Recommends products, outfits, and collections based on user conversations
  • Virtual Try-On — Users can see how products look on them using AI-generated imagery
  • Contextual Nudges — Smart prompts on product listing and detail pages that engage users at the right moment
  • AI Store — A browsable, AI-curated view of your collections and products

How It Works:

The SDK renders as a floating action button (FAB) on your app screens. When tapped, it opens a chat overlay where users interact with the AI assistant. The assistant is aware of what page the user is on (product listings, product details, cart) and tailors its responses accordingly.

All backend services (AI, chat infrastructure, authentication, product indexing) are fully managed by Glance. Your app only provides the UI integration points.
