Overview¶
This guide walks you through everything needed to go live with Glance AI on Shopify, from installing the app to enabling widgets on your storefront.

- What it covers: Installation, onboarding, pixel setup, brand customization, and enabling widgets
- Time required: Approximately 15–20 minutes of active work (plus a short, automatic catalog sync that runs in the background)
- Cost: Installing the app is free; you only configure what you need
How this guide is organized
The setup happens in two stages. Installation gets the app onto your store and connected. The Setup Guide then walks through four tasks — branding, chat, enabling Glance, and adding widgets — that you can complete in any order.
Prerequisites¶
Before you start, make sure you have:
- An active Shopify store on any paid plan
- Admin access to your Shopify dashboard (you'll be installing an app and editing your theme)
- A Glance AI account — if you don't have one yet, contact our sales team for onboarding
- Around 15–20 minutes of uninterrupted time

You can still install the app from the Shopify App Store and begin onboarding. Our team will reach out to complete your account setup.
What You'll Get¶
Once setup is complete, your store will have:
