Frequently Asked Questions

Which integration method should I use?

Use Shopify Admin Integration if you want the fastest, no-code setup — it covers most stores. Use Direct Code Integration when you need precise placement, custom behavior, or you're integrating outside the Shopify theme editor.

Why do widgets only show on mobile?

Glance widgets are designed for mobile shopping, where virtual try-on has the most impact. The integration script intentionally initializes only below a 768px viewport width.

Can I use more than one widget on a page?

Yes. Add a separate block (admin method) or a separate container and snippet (code method) for each widget. Give each container a unique ID if using the code method.

Do I need a Partner ID for the drag-and-drop method?

No. The Shopify Admin method uses the app's stored credentials. Partner ID and Catalog ID are only required for Direct Code Integration.

Where should I place the Try-On Button vs. the Banner?

Use the Button when you want try-on available without taking layout space (great on product pages and collection grids). Use the Banner when you want a prominent, eye-catching prompt near the product image.

My changes aren't showing on the live store.

If you edited a draft theme, publish it. Also clear your browser cache or check in an incognito window, since Shopify and your browser may cache theme assets.
