Consent Management

If your website shows a cookie consent banner (for GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy regulations), you should configure iPixel such that upon user opt-out, iPixel stops firing the events.

How to Set It Up in Google Tag Manager (GTM)

This is done in 2 steps:

• Consent Mode needs to be enabled on Merchant's container.
  • Go to admin → consent setting → check "Enable Consent Overview" checkbox
• ad_storage consent flag is set up inside GTM while creating the tag which downloads the Pixel.

Important

If a user changes consent mid-session, iPixel applies it only from the next page load. It cannot undo already-sent events.
